PML Leaders Head to Islamabad for Intra-Party Elections

Karachi: Key figures of the Pakistan Muslim League, including Muhammad Tariq Hassan and Sarai Niaz Hussain Khaskheli, have departed for Islamabad to participate in the party’s intra-party elections. This follows the recent unopposed election of Khaskheli as the Sindh President and Kunwar Arshad Ali Khan as the General Secretary of Sindh.

The intra-party election in Sindh was conducted under the guidance of Chief Election Commissioner Muhammad Tariq Hassan. The election committee included members such as Muhammad Sadiq Sheikh, Muhammad Jamil Ahmed Khan, and Shahid Abbasi, with additional support from Syed Musharraf Ali.

During the election proceedings, the party extended gratitude to its leadership, including Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Salik Hussain, for their roles in nominating Muhammad Tariq Hassan as the central secretary of the party. Party workers from Sindh expressed their appreciation for this decision, considering it a significant honor.

The intra-party elections are seen as a crucial event for the Pakistan Muslim League, with leaders and members gathering in Islamabad to take part in the electoral process.
