Peshawar Welcomes Home Junior Squash Champions from Doha Championship

Peshawar: The Hashim Khan Squash Academy in Peshawar was a scene of celebration as champions returning from the Doha Junior Squash Championship were warmly greeted. The young athletes, who secured an impressive tally of gold, silver, and bronze medals, were honored by a gathering of coaches, officials, and family members for their remarkable performances in the international event.

According to Pakistan Squash Federation, the champions, all of whom train at the PAF Hashim Khan Academy, brought home two gold medals, one silver, and three bronze from the Doha Junior Squash Championship. The medalists include U-15 champion Rayan Bahadur and U-13 champion Mamoon Khan, with Rayan Zaman finishing as the runner-up in the U-11 category. Additional commendable performances came from Yahya, M Sudais, and M Hussain, who reached the semi-finals in their respective categories.

Group Captain Irfan from the Directorate of Academies at the Pakistan Squash Federation was present to congratulate the young athletes. He highlighted the significance of their achievements not just for their academy but for the country, underscoring the role of such international competitions in fostering young talent.
