People’s Party and Youth Leaders Honor Martyrs of Democracy in Larkana

Karachi: Leaders from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and its youth wing paid homage to the martyrs of democracy, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Rani Benazir Bhutto, at Garhi Khuda Baksh in Larkana. The visit highlighted the ongoing respect and reverence held by party members for their former leaders’ sacrifices towards democracy and national development.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, Abid Hussain Sati, Akhtar Ali Lund, and other party officials laid wreaths and recited Fatiha at the shrines of the former prime ministers. Ali Akbar Kachhilo, along with newly elected office bearers of the People’s Youth West District including Akhtar Ali Lund, General Secretary Affan Saghir Siddiqui, Senior Vice President Obaidullah, and Information Secretary Waqas Farooqui participated in the ceremonies, affirming their dedication to the democratic ideals and legacy of the Bhuttos.

Upon returning to Karachi from Larkana, the officials expressed their commitment to the PPP manifesto, emphasizing the historic role of the party in the development of the country and its struggle for democracy, attributed to the sacrifices of its martyrs. The event serves as a reminder of the party’s foundational values and the enduring influence of the Bhutto family on its political and ideological direction.
