Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a comprehensive lineup of umpires and match referees for the 2025-26 cricket season. This announcement, made on Tuesday, includes a wide range of panels aimed at ensuring effective match officiation throughout the year.
The ICC International Panel of Match officials from Pakistan features match referee Ali Naqvi and umpires Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Khan Aafreedi, Rashid Riaz Waqar, and Saleema Imtiaz. The PCB’s National Elite Panel of Match Referees and the Supplementary Panel of Match Referees each comprise 10 members, highlighting the board’s focus on maintaining a strong officiating team.
The National Elite Panel of Umpires consists of 18 members, while the Supplementary I Panel of Umpires includes 14 members. Additionally, the PCB has assembled an Emerging Panel featuring 40 umpires from various regions of the country, underscoring the board’s commitment to developing officiating talent.
The PCB Women’s Panel includes 13 umpires from cities such as Karachi, Kasur, Khairpur, Lahore, Multan, and Muzaffarabad, reflecting the growing participation of women in cricket officiating roles.
The Supplementary I Panel of Umpires includes notable names such as Asif Farooq Awan, Hasan Mahmood, and Muhammad Fayyaz, among others. The Supplementary II Panel consists of 24 umpires, with several having advanced from the Emerging Panel based on their performances last season.
