Lahore: In a recent development from the PCB Women’s Cricket University Tournament, which took place from May 28 to June 3, two players from Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) have been fined for a breach of the Code of Conduct. The disciplinary action follows an incident in the dressing room involving team-mates Ayesha Amjad and Najiha Alvi.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the incident led to the formation of a five-member committee consisting of members from the tournament’s organizing committee. The committee conducted a thorough investigation, including interviews with the involved players, and subsequently issued its findings. The specifics of the breach and the nature of the fines imposed have not been disclosed, underscoring the PCB’s commitment to maintaining strict behavioral standards in its tournaments.
