Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced plans to conduct a series of workshops on the Athlete Management System (AMS) for regional and district coaches across the country. These workshops, organized by the PCB analysis wing, will introduce coaches to the Coach Dashboard, a tool for tracking player rehabilitation and development in technical and tactical areas.
The AMS is currently operational at both the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi. The upcoming Karachi workshop, scheduled for December 11-12 at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre, will include 31 participants from Hyderabad, Karachi, Larkana, and Quetta. Coaches from the high-performance center, including Abdul Saad, Asim Rizvi, and Nahida Khan, will attend.
The workshops will be led by instructors Usman Hashmi and Zubair Ahmad. Following Karachi, workshops will take place in Faisalabad on December 14-15, Peshawar on December 17-18, Rawalpindi on December 20-21, and conclude in Lahore on December 23-24.
This initiative highlights the PCB’s commitment to enhancing coaching capabilities and player development through advanced data management systems.
