Islamabad: The Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Center (PASTIC), in collaboration with the University of Malakand, held a project awareness and training workshop titled “National Digital Archive of Research Published in Pakistani Journals” on July 22, 2024.

According to University of Chitral, the workshop aimed to empower researchers and journal publishers with modern methodologies and tools essential for advancing research and development at the national level. Dr. Saifulla Azim, Project Manager, and Dr. Ghazala Ali Khan, Additional Director of PASTIC, provided insights into the project’s achievements and discussed strategies for promoting research development.

Dr. Muhammad Romman, Additional Director of ORIC at the University of Chitral, represented his institution at the event, highlighting the importance of Pakistani research journals. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive research roadmap to address the country’s pressing issues and challenges.
