Anas Ali Shah showcased remarkable prowess throughout the men’s tournament. He defeated Zeshan from Australia with scores of 11-2, 11-0, and 11-4, before overcoming fellow Pakistani player Mahmoud with scores of 11-3, 11-4, and 11-5. In a challenging semi-final, Shah triumphed over Huzaifa, coming back after losing the first game to win 9-11, 11-2, 11-3, and 11-5. The final match saw Shah face Shamlan, where he secured victory with scores of 11-4, 11-3, 9-11, 10-12, and 11-5.
In the women’s event, Sana Bahadur also made a significant impact, claiming the championship title for Pakistan. Her performance has been lauded by the Pakistan Squash Federation, which has expressed its congratulations to both Shah and Bahadur.
