Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day Observed at University of Haripur with Patriotic Ceremonies

Haripur: The 79th Independence Day of Pakistan was marked by a flag-hoisting ceremony at the University of Haripur, highlighting the national spirit and commitment to the country's progress. The event, organized by the Provost Office, featured Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abid Farid, Registrar Mr. Riaz Muhammad, and other university officials who underscored the importance of unity and responsibility.

According to the University of Haripur, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Abid Farid, addressed the attendees, paying tribute to the sacrifices made during the Pakistan Movement and urging everyone to contribute to the nation's development. He emphasized unity, hard work, and national spirit as crucial elements for the country's advancement. The event also included the cutting of an Independence Day cake by the Vice Chancellor.
