Pakistani Runner Undertakes 1,600-Kilometer Challenge to Support Education

Karachi: A 27-year-old runner from Pakistan is on a 1,600-kilometer mission to raise awareness and funds for the education of underprivileged children. Tabarak Rehman is retracing his educational journey from Cadet College Hasan Abdal in Punjab to the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, aiming to support The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in educating 7,000 children.

According to The Citizens Foundation, Pakistan faces a significant educational challenge, with at least 26.2 million children out of school. Rehman seeks to address this issue by running across the country, making stops at TCF schools to engage with students, staff, and local communities. His journey, marked by determination and resilience, has recently taken him past Nawabshah, and he is expected to arrive in Karachi soon.

Rehman’s effort is encapsulated in his motto, “One child, one mile – one step at a time!” as he continues to garner support for his cause.
