Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a revised schedule for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship matches between Pakistan and England. The second Test, originally slated to be held in Karachi from October 15 to 19, will now take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium. This change is part of a three-match series running from October 7 to 28.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the shift from Karachi to Multan was necessary due to ongoing renovations at the National Bank Stadium in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Other matches in the series will be played as originally scheduled, with the first Test in Multan from October 7 to 11, and the third Test in Rawalpindi from October 24 to 28.
Both teams, Pakistan and England, will arrive in Multan on October 2 to begin preparations for the series. The PCB has emphasized its commitment to providing fans with an excellent experience while ensuring the series proceeds smoothly despite the venue change.
