Manila: Pakistan marked its first participation in the International Nuclear Science Olympiad with notable success, securing multiple medals. The event, which took place from July 31 to August 6, 2024, in the Philippines, saw Pakistani students win two silver and two bronze medals.
According to Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Suleman Nouman from Siddique Public School and Subhan Kashif from Lahore Grammar School clinched silver medals. Ehban Awan from Karachi Grammar School and Qasim Salam from Siddique Public School brought home bronze medals. The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission played a pivotal role in preparing and supporting the team, alongside significant financial assistance from the International Atomic Energy Agency.
