Darwin: The Pakistan Shaheens cricket team is set to start the white-ball leg of its Darwin tour this Sunday, facing the Northern Territory Strike in a 50-over match at the Gardens Oval. The team’s schedule includes a series of matches across different formats, culminating in the Top End T20 Series, featuring nine teams, starting on August 9.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the Shaheens will play a second 50-over match against Bangladesh ‘A’ on Tuesday at the DXC Arena before transitioning to the T20 format. The team, which reached the finals last year, will open its T20 campaign against the Perth Scorchers on August 10. The squad has seen two recent changes, with fast bowler Kashif Ali sidelined due to injury and Tayyab Tahir replacing Mohammad Huraira, who returned to Pakistan for potential selection in upcoming red-ball matches.
