Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari Calls for Peace, Condemns Violence in Gaza and Kashmir on International Day of Peace

Islamabad: In a statement marking the International Day of Peace, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the urgent need for a global culture of peace and tolerance, condemning ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Kashmir.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari’s message centered on this year’s theme, “Cultivating a culture of peace.” He addressed the severe geopolitical tensions worldwide, specifically the violence in Gaza and the human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The president criticized these actions as threats to world peace and stability, urging international communities to prioritize human rights and justice over conflict and discord.
