Islamabad: The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) has introduced a new educational initiative, the IOC Certificate in Drugs in Sport, set to run from September 2024 through March 2025. This program aims to educate athletes, coaches, and sports administrators on the critical aspects of drug use in sports and anti-doping measures.
According to Pakistan Olympic Association, Secretary General Muhammad Khalid Mahmood announced the program in a recent correspondence, underscoring the association’s commitment to promoting clean sports and fair play. The course is designed to provide comprehensive training on the prevention of doping, understanding of anti-doping regulations, and the health implications of drug use in sports.
