LAHORE: Pakistan’s men’s T20I cricket team will travel to Sri Lanka next month to participate in a three-match series against the host nation. This series is designed to aid the team’s preparations for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The matches are scheduled to take place at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla on January 7, 9, and 11. These fixtures are expected to provide essential practice for the Pakistani squad as they gear up for the global tournament.
Pakistan has been placed in Group ‘A’ for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with all their group matches set to occur in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The World Cup is slated to run from February 7 to March 8.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed these arrangements as part of their strategy to fine-tune the team’s performance ahead of the international competition.
