Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the resumption of men’s domestic cricket events after a brief postponement caused by the prevailing situation in the country. This move marks a significant step towards revitalizing cricket at the grassroots level.
Starting today, the Regional Intra-District Challenge Cup and the Inter-District U19 One-Day Tournament will resume, offering a platform for competitive cricket. The President’s Trophy Grade II, another event affected by the postponement, will restart from May 14.
The tournament’s schedule includes the quarter-finals from May 19 to 21, followed by the semi-finals from May 24 to 26. The final is slated to be held from May 28 to 31.
The PCB has expressed its commitment to nurturing domestic cricket, emphasizing the importance of providing opportunities for players to display their skills across various levels.
