Islamabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the list of match officials for the upcoming home series between the Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh ‘A’. The series, scheduled from August 13 to August 30, will feature two four-day matches and three 50-over contests.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the match officials’ roster includes members from both the ICC/PCB International panel and the PCB Elite Panel. Nadeem Arshad will serve as the match referee for the four-day matches, while Iftikhar Ahmed will oversee the 50-over matches. Umpiring duties will be shared by Faisal Khan Aafreedi, Rashid Riaz, Abdul Moqeet, Imran Jawed, Nasir Hussain, and Waleed Yaqoob, all of whom are seasoned officials from the PCB’s elite panels.
The appointments for the series are as follows: For the four-day matches on August 13-16 and August 20-23, Faisal Aafreedi and Imran Jawed, then Faisal Aafreedi and Nasir Hussain, will take the field as umpires, with Zulfiqar Jan acting as the third umpire. In the 50-over matches on August 26, 28, and 30, Rashid Riaz pairs with Abdul Moqeet and then with Waleed Yaqoob, with the latter also taking turns as the third umpire.
