Islamabad: Team NUST from the National University of Sciences and Technology’s Law School has secured a spot in the International Rounds of the Sports Arbitration Moot Court Competition on International Sports Law, set to take place in Madrid.
The team competed against 70 teams from around the world and achieved a commendable 10th place, demonstrating their legal skills and advocacy capabilities.
The team comprises Maham Khan, Eman Afroze, Iqra Hayat, Haram Chaudhary, Rasib Araiz, and Jibran Umarkhel. They were coached by Ahmed Khalil from Egypt, who provided international guidance.
The competition highlights the students’ expertise in international sports law, and their success reflects positively on Pakistan’s legal education standards.
As the team prepares for the upcoming rounds in Madrid, they carry the hopes of representing Pakistan effectively on a global platform.
