New Venture Contest Showcases Pakistan’s Entrepreneurial Talent

Lahore: The New Venture Contest 2025, a prominent platform for budding entrepreneurs, took place at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, showcasing innovative ideas and entrepreneurial talent from across Pakistan. Organized by Industrial Partnership Projects – US and the Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science at UET, the event provided a significant opportunity for students to present their business ideas.

The contest drew participants from various academic institutions nationwide, with ten finalists competing for $100,000 in cash prizes. Esteemed judges assessed the business pitches, while attendees included industry leaders, investors, and innovators, offering participants valuable exposure.

Dr. Amjad Saqib, Founder of Akhuwat Foundation, served as the Chief Guest, delivering insights on social entrepreneurship. Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, attended as Guest of Honor, emphasizing the role of academia in fostering entrepreneurship.
