New Book on Prophet Muhammad’s Life Offers Intellectual and Spiritual Insights

Islamabad: The Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue has released a new book, “Rahmat-e-Sab Jah?n ? (Mercy to All Worlds ?),” authored by the scholar Habib ur Rahman Asim. The book delves into the life of Prophet Muhammad ?, offering readers an intellectual and spiritual exploration rather than a mere historical account.

The publication aims to highlight the timeless relevance of the Prophet’s life, portraying it as a comprehensive guide for personal and spiritual development across all ages. The narrative seeks to reveal the beauty of the Prophet’s character and the wisdom embedded in his actions.

The first copy was presented to the university’s President, who praised the book as a significant contribution to understanding the Prophet’s life. The President emphasized the urgent need to raise awareness about the Prophet’s teachings in today’s world.

Mr. Nasir Fareed, during the book presentation, highlighted the author’s academic journey, noting his previous role as a professor at the International Islamic University Islamabad and his current position as Chairman of the Iqbal Chair at Bahria University.

Drawing from over fifty authoritative sources, the book presents a blend of academic rigor and accessible prose, appealing to both scholars and general readers. It aligns with the university’s mission to extend its research impact and reimagine the study of Prophetic biography.
