LAHORE: A delegation from Nepal, led by Ambassador Rita Dhital, visited Punjab University on Friday to discuss enhancing academic cooperation. The visit, attended by Deputy Chief of Mission Purushottam Dhungel, focused on deepening the university's relationship with Nepal and acknowledging the support provided to Nepalese students.
According to University of the Punjab, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali welcomed the delegation, which included Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahmood Saleem and Director of the Directorate of External Linkages Prof. Dr. Yaamina Salman. During the meeting, the ambassador praised the university for its academic environment and support for Nepalese students. In response, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali emphasized the university’s commitment to high-quality education and facilities for international students. Both parties expressed a mutual interest in strengthening educational ties and maintaining their longstanding relationship.
