Karachi: A widespread signature campaign advocating for the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, referred to as the daughter of the nation, has been organized under the banner of Team Aafia in Peshawar and Muzaffargarh Jatoi. The campaign has garnered significant participation, with many citizens expressing their desire for her prompt return to Pakistan.

According to Aafia Movement, the campaign, known as the “Free Aafia Signature Campaign,” is part of a broader, peaceful effort within and outside of Pakistan. It aims to signal to authorities the unified demand for Dr. Aafia’s early release. The initiative has engaged young men and women nationwide, emphasizing the collective call for her return.
