Lahore: Muhammad Shahid successfully defended his dissertation titled "Urdu News Document Classification: Corpus and Methods," in a PhD open defense session conducted by the Directorate of Advanced Studies and Research. The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Iqbal.
According to University of Central Punjab, the defense panel included Dr. Muhammad Aasim Qureshi from NUCES and Dr. Jawad Shafi from COMSATS Lahore Campus as external examiners, while Dr. Abbas Khalid served as the internal examiner. The session featured a comprehensive and engaging Qand A, showcasing the depth of Shahid's research in the field.
