Karachi: In a compelling showdown at the Asifabad Sports Ground, Al-Hussaini Cricket Club clinched a 31-run victory over Shaheen Gymkhana in the Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament, propelled by Moin Khan’s unbeaten century.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, Moin Khan’s stellar performance of 105 not out was the highlight of the match, guiding Al-Hussaini CC to a total of 259 all out in 39.3 overs. His innings, adorned with 16 fours, along with significant contributions from Muhammad Hassan and Azmat Khan, set a challenging target for Shaheen Gymkhana. Despite efforts from Haris Bin Tahir and Rizwan Yousuf, Shaheen Gymkhana fell short, scoring 228 all out in 37.4 overs.

The tournament, organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi in collaboration with Master Oil Lubricants, saw notable performances from both teams’ bowlers, with Jaffer Khan and Azmat Khan taking multiple wickets for Al-Hussaini, and Rizwan Yousuf and Zarak Khan for Shaheen Gymkhana.

The tournament continues with upcoming fixtures including teams like Late Ismail Jaffer, Malir Sports, SMS Gymkhana, and others across various venues in Karachi on Monday, August 26th.
