Mehran University Seeks Candidates for Textile Engineering Project Under NRPU

Jamshoro: Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) is inviting applications for bachelor’s and master’s students in textile engineering to participate in a prestigious project sponsored by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU).

According to Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, the project titled “Synthesis of printable and conductive nano carbon ink and its potential application in textile structured solar cells” seeks to enhance the research capabilities in the textile engineering sector. The university is looking for one bachelor’s student enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of B.E. Textile Engineering and one master’s student who has completed a bachelor’s in a relevant field and is enrolled in the first year of a master’s program in disciplines such as Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.

The bachelor’s position is a 12-month commitment with a remuneration of Rs. 12,000 per month, while the master’s role spans 24 months and offers Rs. 16,000 per month.
