Karachi: Medicam Group will continue to sponsor cricket tournaments organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK) beyond the current U-15, U-17, and U-19 levels. These remarks were made by Zafar Riaz Bari, Director of Admin and External Affairs at Medicam Group of Companies, during the opening ceremony of the RCAK Talent Hunt Program's final phase of the Medicam Trophy Under-19 Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana Ground on Tuesday.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the Vice President, Syed Muhammad Talha, emphasized the importance of fitness for cricketers and expressed Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana's full support for the promotion of cricket in Karachi. Ali Hussain, Secretary of RCAK, urged young players to take advantage of the Talent Hunt program to showcase their skills for future opportunities to represent Karachi. Khalid Nafees, Chairman of the Tournament Committee, highlighted President Nadeem Omar's vision of promoting club cricket across all seven zones of Karachi, with ongoing tournaments providing new talent with opportunities.

Muhammad Touseef Siddiqui, Joint Secretary of RCAK, announced that U-19 tournament matches will be broadcast live on RCAK's YouTube channel. He expressed gratitude to Medicam Group for sponsoring the Talent Hunt Program and acknowledged the support from RCAK's zonal office bearers, including Khalid Nafees and Azam Khan. The opening match saw Zone-IV Blues defeating Zone-V Blues by 31 runs, with Sardar Abdullah earning the Medicam Man of the Match award for his performance. The ceremony was attended by various officials and personalities from RCAK and the city's cricket community.
