Jamshoro: Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) hosted the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on September 22, 2024, for prospective students of MBBS and BDS programs for the academic session 2024-2025. The examination saw participation from 12,659 candidates, including 5,859 males and 6,800 females.

According to Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, the test was personally overseen by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan, who ensured stringent supervision of the examination procedures. The university has allocated 350 seats for the MBBS program and 100 seats for the BDS program. Additionally, 100 MBBS seats are reserved at the Liaquat Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Thatta, and another 100 seats for male students at Bilawal Medical College, Jamshoro.
