Lahore: Mansoor Qadir, a retired Provincial Management Service Officer, has been appointed as the Election Commissioner of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The decision was made by PCB Patron and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, following the guidelines set out in Article 29 of the PCB Constitution 2014.

Upon assuming his new role, Qadir met with Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the PCB. During their meeting, Qadir was briefed on his responsibilities. Chairman Naqvi conveyed his confidence that Qadir would fulfill his duties with dedication and integrity.

Qadir’s appointment comes at a critical time for the PCB, as the organization continues to navigate its governance and administrative tasks. His extensive experience in public service is expected to be an asset in his new position.
