Kohat University Delegation Visits IIU to Enhance Student Services

Islamabad: In a collaborative effort to boost student facilitation, a delegation from Kohat University of Science and Technology visited the Student Facilitation Center (SFC) at International Islamic University (IIU) on Wednesday. The visit was part of an initiative directed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to adopt and replicate successful student service models.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, The IIU team, led by Vice President Academics, Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, provided an in-depth briefing on the operations and strategies of the SFC. The event was attended by the Director of Academics, Syed Naved Ethisham, along with key officials from the Academics and Examinations departments and the focal person of the SFC.

The delegation from Kohat University expressed a strong interest in IIU’s capacity-building programs for faculty and staff, which are integral to the SFC’s mission. They commended the initiatives for staff development and the comprehensive exposure to effective management practices, which they observed could significantly impact youth development and student services.

Dr. Raheman emphasized that the visit underscores a significant stride in fostering collaboration and sharing best practices between Kohat University and IIU, marking the start of a new chapter aimed at enriching student experiences and promoting academic excellence.
