Rawalakot: Jamia Poonch Rawalakot has extended the admission deadline to September 16, 2024, and rescheduled the entrance tests for its Computer Science department. This adjustment provides prospective students additional time to apply due to delays in intermediate examination results.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the decision to postpone the entrance tests, originally set for September 5, was made to accommodate students affected by the examination delays. The new schedule sets the Computer Science department tests for September 19, while entrance exams for Ph.D., MPhil, and MSc Honors programs in the Faculty of Agriculture, dubbed “UGATE,” will take place on September 23.

The university has also updated its academic calendar to reflect these changes. The first merit list will now be displayed on September 30, with the corresponding fee submission window from October 2 to October 4. The second merit list is slated for October 7, with fees due between October 9 and 11. Classes for the new academic session will commence on October 15, 2024.
