Bahawalpur: The Department of Mathematics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is set to conduct a public defense of a PhD thesis on the “Rheological Properties in Coating Process of Non-Newtonian Polymers.” The viva-vice is scheduled for Friday, 16th August 2024 at the university’s Baghdad Campus.
According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, the PhD candidate, Ms. Alia Hanif, will present her research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zaheer Abbas. External examiners Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf from CASPAM, Bahauddin Zakria University Multan, and Dr. Jafar Hasnain, an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Bahria University Islamabad, will evaluate the dissertation.
The defense aims to explore the complex rheological behavior of non-Newtonian fluids, particularly in industrial applications like coatings. The study’s findings could provide significant advancements in the field, improving processes and material qualities in various manufacturing sectors.
