Bahawalpur: The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has announced significant tuition reductions across a variety of academic programs at its Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan campuses. This strategic move aims to alleviate financial pressures on students and families amid challenging economic conditions.
According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, the fee reduction initiative, spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Chairman of the Admission Committee and Director of Academics, targets several undergraduate and master’s programs. The revised fee structure includes a set fee of 25 thousand rupees for the first and second semesters in select programs at the Bahawalpur campus, with subsequent semesters seeing a 5 thousand rupee increment annually. Additionally, specific programs at the Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan campuses will also adopt a flat fee rate of 25 thousand rupees, aiming to simplify and reduce the cost of higher education for students in these regions.
