Macau: GP Capt (R) Irfan Asghar has secured his place in the final round of the 6th Asian Masters Squash Championship by defeating Andre Stahl in the semifinals. Stahl, originally from Germany but representing Macau, lost in straight sets as the championship progresses towards its concluding matches. The final, set for tomorrow, will see Asghar face Korean player Ryun Hoe Koo.
According to Pakistan Squash Federation, Asghar’s victory came through a dominant performance with scores of 11-9, 12-10, and 11-2. His success in the semifinals has positioned him as a strong contender for the championship title in this prestigious regional tournament. The final match promises to be a significant event as both finalists aim to clinch the top spot.
