Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI)’s Male Campus is commemorating Marka-e-Haq and Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a vibrant sports festival. The Directorate of Student Affairs (Male) organized the event to encourage camaraderie, athletic competition, and student involvement.
The program encompasses indoor competitions like table tennis, chess, and snooker, as well as an outdoor cricket tournament. The indoor games commenced today with the Director of Student Affairs (Male) presiding over the opening ceremony. Numerous students from different departments, especially those residing in the male hostels, eagerly participated.
The culminating event, a cricket final, is set for tomorrow, August 13, 2025. IIUI’s hardball team will face a well-known cricket club from Rawalpindi. This match will not only showcase national spirit but also underscore the university’s dedication to wholesome student activities.
