IIUI Hosts Income Tax Filing Training in Collaboration with FBR

Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in partnership with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), conducted an “Income Tax Return Filing” training session at the university’s Fatima Tuz Zohra Block Female Campus. The session, aimed at equipping faculty and staff with skills for efficient tax compliance, featured hands-on demonstrations and expert guidance on navigating tax regulations.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the training was led by Mr. Muhammad Alam Zaib Khan, Secretary of Tax Education at FBR, and included presentations from several tax experts. Vice President Dr. Muhammad Sarwar opened the session by emphasizing the university’s commitment to continuous professional development and compliance with national regulations. The event saw participation from over 100 university personnel, reflecting a strong engagement and a collective effort to enhance understanding of tax filing processes.

The session ended with practical demonstrations of the online filing system and discussions on the importance of accurate tax return submissions, underlining the university’s strategic vision of fostering a knowledgeable and compliant community.
