ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Health Syed Mustafa Kamal emphasized the divine blessing of Marka-e-Haq and its role in uniting the nation against external aggression during a seminar organized by the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue at the International Islamic University Islamabad. The seminar, held at the Faisal Mosque Campus, marked the first anniversary of the historic victory and began with a flag-hoisting ceremony.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Minister Kamal highlighted the unity displayed by the Pakistan Armed Forces and citizens during the conflict, urging for the same solidarity in times of peace. He stressed that internal disunity poses a greater challenge than any external threat, and called for sustained national cohesion to ensure progress and success. The Minister paid tribute to the armed forces and national leadership for their roles in the victory.
IIUI President Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed expressed national pride, acknowledging the steadfastness of the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, in safeguarding sovereignty. He emphasized the importance of shared faith and mutual trust in fostering Muslim unity and progress. Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan and other distinguished speakers echoed sentiments of unity and resilience, drawing lessons from historical events and philosophical teachings to reinforce the seminar’s themes.
The seminar was moderated by Muhammad Younas, who thanked participants for their engagement and support.
