Karachi: The Regional Dawah Center in Karachi, in partnership with the Karachi Water Board, has launched a significant tree plantation initiative to foster a greener urban landscape. As part of this campaign, 400 neem trees have been planted at the Center to enhance the city’s green cover and contribute to environmental sustainability.
The tree plantation ceremony witnessed participation from key figures, including Muhammad Adnan Khan, Director of Planning and Development at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI); Dr. Shahzad Channa, Acting In-Charge of the Regional Dawah Center; and Syed Moazzam Ali, Consultant for the Karachi Water Board.
During the event, Muhammad Adnan Khan commended the Karachi Water Board for its support in the initiative. He underscored the critical role of tree planting in mitigating pollution and expressed optimism that this effort would foster a healthier environment at the Dawah Center and throughout Karachi.
Participants affirmed their dedication to environmental stewardship through collaborative projects and stressed the importance of ongoing efforts to tackle environmental issues with sustainable practices like tree planting.
