Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) is poised to enhance healthcare services for its staff through a potential partnership with the Alkhidmat Foundation. A recent meeting between Mr. Atique Chughtai, Director of Human Resources at IIUI, and Dr. Hafiz Ur Rehman, Chairman of Alkhidmat Hospitals International, marked the initial steps towards this collaboration.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize the healthcare partnership. Once approved by IIUI’s competent authorities, the MoU will provide the university’s employees access to Alkhidmat Foundation’s extensive network of 57 hospitals across Pakistan.
The proposed partnership aims to offer quality and affordable healthcare to IIUI staff and their dependents nationwide. This initiative is part of the university administration’s ongoing efforts to prioritize employee welfare and establish strategic alliances with reputable healthcare providers.
This collaboration is anticipated to significantly broaden healthcare access for the university’s community, furthering IIUI’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of its staff through viable and enduring initiatives.
