Lahore: A specialized workshop on the “Effective Use of Generative AI” was recently organized by the IEEE Student Branch, offering participants an interactive learning experience with artificial intelligence tools. The session, led by Dr. Nabeel Khalid from the Faculty of Engineering, focused on engaging participants with Large Language Models and prompt engineering, utilizing tools like ChatGPT for academic research, coding assistance, and problem-solving.
According to University of Central Punjab, the event was orchestrated under the guidance of Mr. Muhammad Mubeen Hassan, the Vice President of the IEEE UCP Student Branch and Focal Person for the IEEE Lahore Section Young Professionals Program. Attended by over fifty undergraduate students, faculty members, and IEEE professionals, the workshop concluded with a formal ceremony. Dr. Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Fesal Toosy, Head of Department, participated in the closing ceremony, which included the distribution of certificates.
