Lahore: A recent workshop on perfume and scent making, organized by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, attracted students, young researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs eager to learn the practical skills necessary for fragrance formulation. The event also provided insights into branding, marketing, and commercialization strategies.
According to University of Central Punjab, the workshop featured training sessions led by Mr. Muhammad Irfan, CEO of IrfanScienceWala (Pvt.) Ltd.; Mr. Tauqeer Hussain, Head of the Cosmetics Section at IrfanScienceWala (Pvt.) Ltd.; and Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology. Participants were given the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that emphasized both the science and business aspects of the perfume industry.
