Islamabad: A Government College University Lahore (GCU) student has competed on the global stage, representing Pakistan at the FISU World University Games in Germany. Yasra Ayub, a Bachelor of Computer Science undergraduate, participated in the javelin throw competition.
Ayub credited GCU and the Higher Education Commission for enabling her to reach the national level, paving the way for her international participation.
The undergraduate athlete also met with GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry and Sports Director Muhammad Waseem Akhtar.
