Lahore: A captivating art exhibition titled “Fourteen Imaginations of Independence” opened at Punjab University College of Art and Design (PU CAD) on Friday, commemorating Pakistan’s Independence Day. The display, a joint effort with Khayal Art Space, showcases the creations of 14 PU CAD instructors and former students.
The inaugural event was attended by Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Principal CAD Dr Samina Nasim, along with faculty and students. The artwork explores diverse facets of Pakistan’s freedom and heritage.
In his remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali lauded the pieces, describing them as enduring tributes to the nation’s heroes and a vibrant depiction of its history and independence. He emphasized the importance of fostering national unity.
