Four Matches Conclude in Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament.

Karachi: Four more matches were decided yesterday in the Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament organized by Regional Cricket Association Karachi in collaboration with Master Oil Lubricant. In the first match played at the Students Sports Ground, Muhammad Hussain Cricket Club Colts defeated Rizvia Sports by 200 runs. Mohammad Hussain Cricket Club Colts scored 289 runs while batting first. Inayat Ali scored 76 runs with the help of 11 fours, Rashid Ashraf scored 58 runs with the help of 6 fours and one six, Ali Sher scored 38 runs, Muhammad Yasin and Ijaz Ahmed scored 19 and 19 runs respectively. Muhammad Hamza scored 3 for 66 runs while Waseem Abbas and Faisal Fayyaz dismissed 2 players each. In response, Rizvia Sports was dismissed for 89 runs. Mohammad Arif scored 19 runs. Off-spinner Farman Khan gave 6 runs for 6 while bowling destructively and Bin Yameen dismissed 2 players.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, in the second match played at Eidgah Ground Nazimabad, SMS Gymkhana defeated Nayar Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Nayab Cricket Club was bowled out for just 34 runs while batting first. Nadeem scored 13 runs. Slow left-arm leg-spinner Akbar Babar bowled aggressively, giving 5 for 6 and Saad Alam dismissed 2 players. In reply, SMS Gymkhana scored the required 38 runs for the loss of one wicket. Kashif Akhtar scored 25 runs.

In the third match played at Afza Ground, Gulzar Cricket Club defeated Baldia Gymkhana by 3 wickets. Baldia Gymkhana scored 182 runs while batting first. Hassan scored 66 runs with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes, Yar Muhammad scored 20 runs and Mehboob Rahimo scored 18 runs. Muhammad Sami scored 4 runs for 34 while Abdullah and Bilal Mirza got 2 each out. In response, Gulzar Cricket Club scored the required 187 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Syed Saad Akhtar scored 88 with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes, Idris Mirza scored 27 runs and Mohammad Sami scored 21 not out. Mohammad Shakir scored 46 runs and dismissed 3 players.

In the fourth match, Montgomery Gymkhana defeated Al Hamra Cricket Club by 8 wickets. Alhamra Cricket Club batted first and were dismissed for 125 runs. Amanullah scored 25 runs. Syed Ali Maher took 3 while Sajjadullah and Mahmood Jamshed dismissed 2 players each. In response, Gymkhana made the required 126 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Sajjad Rashid scored 53 runs with the help of 7 fours and Aqib Anwar scored 51 runs with the help of 10 fours and both were not out.
