Lahore: Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) has been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) as a Training Organization outside Practice (TOoP), marking a milestone as the first educational institution in Pakistan to receive this recognition. This accreditation positions FCCU among elite organizations committed to nurturing future Chartered Accountants.
According to Forman Christian College, the TOoP Certificate Handing-Over Ceremony took place on July 27, 2026, at the university. The event was attended by an ICAP delegation led by Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui, FCA, President of ICAP, along with ICAP Council Members and senior management representatives. The delegation met with FCCU's Rector, Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton, who was joined by senior university leaders including Chief Information Officer Anthony Richards and Chief Financial Officer Furqan Seith.
The TOoP accreditation allows students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy qualification to conduct their mandatory professional training at FCCU. The university will offer a structured program that provides practical exposure necessary for developing technical, ethical, and professional skills crucial for a career in chartered accountancy.
FCCU expressed its gratitude to the various offices and individuals whose efforts contributed to the achievement and organization of the accreditation ceremony.
