First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Visits Family of Late Nazir Dhoki, Prominent PPP Worker

Islamabad: Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, First Lady of Pakistan and Member of the National Assembly, paid a visit to the family of Nazir Hussain Dhoki, a longstanding member of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) who recently passed away. Dhoki, who served as the Chief Media Coordinator for PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, died on July 14 after battling cancer.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, during her visit, the First Lady expressed deep condolences and highlighted Dhoki’s enduring commitment to the party, particularly during challenging times such as the dictatorship of General Zia ul Haq and the subsequent Movement for the Restoration of Democracy. She noted Dhoki’s unwavering loyalty to the Bhutto family and his inspirational role within the PPP.

The First Lady assured Dhoki’s family of the party’s continued support. The family expressed their gratitude for her visit, which provided comfort in a time of grief. Notable PPP members, including Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ghulam Mustafa Shah and several MNAs, accompanied her, underscoring the party’s collective support for one of their long-serving members.
