Lahore: The Center for Professional Excellence at the University of Central Punjab has successfully concluded its two-day “Finance for Non-Finance Managers” program. This initiative aimed at equipping professionals from various sectors with essential financial skills to enhance their decision-making capabilities.
Participants from a range of leading institutions and industries, including Punjab University Shaukat Khanum, ICL International College, RCDP, RIE Metal, Travelo Tourism, and Beyond Borders Consultancy, engaged in a comprehensive learning experience. The program combined theoretical frameworks with practical applications, offering a balanced approach to understanding finance.
Through the use of interactive case studies, practical exercises, and peer learning activities, the program sought to simplify complex financial concepts. Participants gained insights into financial statement analysis, budgeting, cost control, and investment decision-making.
At the program’s conclusion, Muhammed Yaqoob, Provost UCP, and Dr. Muhammad Athar Siddiqui, Dean of FOMS, commended the participants for their dedication. Both officials reiterated the University of Central Punjab’s commitment to providing industry-relevant executive education.
