FGRF Partners with IIUI to Plant 100 Saplings in Annual Green Initiative

Islamabad: The Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) has contributed 100 saplings to the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), as part of their annual joint plantation drive. The event, which took place on Wednesday at the university’s new campus, saw the active participation of university officials and staff members from the horticulture department.

Dr. Inaam ul Haq, Director of Administration and Works at IIUI, along with other university directors and officers, were present to oversee the planting. Representatives from FGRF, including Mr. Amir Attari, Head of FGRF and Coordination Department, Dawat-e-Islami Islamabad, and Hamza Attari, Provincial Head of the Education Department, Dawat-e-Islami Islamabad, attended with their team.

Amir Attari praised IIUI’s efforts in maintaining an eco-friendly campus, highlighting the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability. He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing care and maintenance of the plants previously gifted by FGRF, which now total 1,000 since the program’s start.

Dr. Inaam ul Haq acknowledged the university’s recent environmental initiatives, stressing the need for continued efforts in promoting greenery amidst ecological challenges. He extended gratitude to the Director of Finance, Director of HRM, and the horticulture team for their involvement in the plantation drive.

The event concluded with the planting of several saplings, followed by a special prayer for the success of the initiative and the betterment of the environment.
