Islamabad: In a ceremony held at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Fast Cables Limited recognized outstanding academic achievement by awarding a cash prize to a top graduating student. The event, organized by the university's Office of University Advancement and Financial Aid, celebrated the accomplishments of Mr. Abdullah Jahangir, a student in the Department of Electrical Engineering, who achieved the highest CGPA of 3.86 out of 4.00 in his class.
The recognition came under the Fast Cables Excellence Award, established through a Memorandum of Understanding between IIUI and Fast Cables Limited. Mr. Jahangir received a cash award of Rs. 100,000 in honor of his academic excellence.
Presiding over the ceremony was Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of IIUI, along with representatives from Fast Cables Limited, including Mr. Muhammad Tariq, Regional Business Manager North, and Mr. Afrasiyab Khan, Senior Manager Business Development.
The event was attended by senior university officials, faculty members, and the award recipient's family. During his address, Prof. Dr. Alahmed lauded Fast Cables Limited for its role in educational development and emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in preparing students for future challenges. He highlighted that such initiatives motivate students to maintain high academic standards.
