Lahore: A seminar focused on harassment at the workplace was organized by the Volunteer in Service Department as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2025 campaign. The event convened a panel of experts who discussed critical aspects of workplace ethics and safety.
Speakers at the seminar included Mr. Syed Mohsin Zulfiqar, Vice Chairman of YOCFAN; Prof. Faraz Ali from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the University of Central Punjab; Ms. Mehwish Niaz, Executive Director of the Laureate Foundation; and Ms. Sabiha Shaheen, Executive Director of Bargad. Each speaker contributed insights on legal protections and reporting mechanisms for harassment.
The session emphasized the collective responsibility of institutions and youth in fostering safe and inclusive professional environments. The experts urged attendees to understand and implement practices that uphold workplace integrity.
